Offline registration for IELTS
All applicants can register for IELTS in person at an IDP Education India Pvt Ltd office near them. You can obtain an application form, complete it, pay by DD or cash deposit at ICICI or Allahabad banks, and attach the deposit slip to the form.
Online registration for IELTS
Most applicants choose online registration since it takes less time to complete simple steps: registering, choosing a desired day and location, and finally paying the fee.
Step 1: Fill in the Basic Information
The selection of country, month, and disability arrangement requirement is the initial stage in the IELTS application. A candidate must choose a date, country, and module (Academic or General Training).
Step 2: Register
Candidates will see a registration box where they must fill in the required information such as their email address, date of birth, and name.They will then be directed to the personal information area, where they must provide their nation, postal code, address, and phone number.
Step 3: Uploading ID Proof
The candidate must then upload the requisite document, which is a passport.
Step 4: Fill in the blanks regarding nationality, education, and occupation.
Step 5: Checking the Application
Candidates must review the details one last time before making the IELTS fee payment in this phase. They will confirm the day, centre, module, and city of the IELTS test.
Step 6: IELTS Exam Fees Payment
Finally, the IELTS registration fee will be paid. They will print the acknowledgement receipt after the payment has been made.
IELTS registration tips
The best and easiest way to complete the registration without any mistakes is to make sure that all documents necessary for uploading are kept in order nearby to avoid confusion.
Some tips for the test day are as follows:∙
Keep all necessary identification on hand. Carry the same identification that you used to apply for the test.∙ Check the test location, date, and time again. Allow adequate travel time to prevent being late.∙ In the exam room, there will be a wall clock to refer to as watches are not allowed.∙ Pay attention and ask questions if you have any doubts when the supervisor is giving instructions.∙ Try to answer all of the questions as there is no negative marking.∙ Leave your belongings outside the test hall.

Is passport mandatory for IELTS application?
IELTS has a strict No passport, No test policy, ie, that having a passport is mandatory to apply for the IELTS test.To take the speaking, listening, reading, and writing tests, all candidates must present their original valid passport, a copy of which was supplied with their application. The candidate will be denied access to the test if they do not bring their original passport on the day of the test.
