Eligibility

Some eligibility requirements are consistent across all Common Wallace India Trust Scholarships, grants, and fellowships, while others may differ. CWIT has created several eligibility criteria discussed in the section below.

Applicants for CWIT grants must meet the following requirements:

• Applicants must be studying in CWIT-accredited disciplines.
• Ideally, they should be Indian citizens residing in India.
• The applicant cannot have received a CWIT grant in the last five years.

One of the top IELTS scholarships for Indian students is the Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Program. This Scholarship is available to Indian students who wish to study in New Zealand, Singapore, or the United Kingdom.

To qualify for this IELTS scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• The university that students apply to should send them an acceptance letter.
• They should be able to communicate effectively in English.
• They must be in possession of a valid Indian passport.

Aspirants can also apply for an IELTS Fee Waiver Scholarship, which will allow them to receive a full refund of their registration expenses.
